The richest race on the W.A. Country Racing calendar is coming the Great Southern on March 10, 2024 - with a huge $350,000 in stake money up for grabs!
Mark Bayliss, General Manager of the Albany Racing Club is excited by the attention the The Wellington & Reeves Bluff Knoll Slot Race is attracting following the success of other slot races across run the nation; and the big prize money on offer. "$150,000 goes to the winner and breaks itself down through the scale; and we pay down to 13th.
“This is going to be a great concept and I think it will attract record crowds." Bayliss told Racing WA's TABradio. The inaugural slotholders consist of a mix of racing stables and business who each have a game plan to maximise their investment. The Race Day experience will see crowds flock to Percy Spencer Racecourse in Albany and enjoy live entertainment and Fashions On The Field - with a special VIP Marquee for those wanting to level up their day at the track. GA Tickets and the VIP Marquee experience are already on-sale with punters getting in early to make sure they don't miss out!
On the track, race fans will also get to witness the Pelican's Ladies Day Bracelet - a big highlight on the undercard.
